Both the devices come with almost same specifications. Some minor differences make the phones unique. Design and build:       The two phones come with different type of design as the Nokia X6 provides both side glass build with aluminium framing and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a metal back and polycarbonate framing and antenna bands. Nokia is considered as a good durability provider with their phones, but this time the glass build makes it look a little weaker as the glass back doesn't seem too much strong against the shocks. Flagships on a budget: Who wins the race with best Soc and low price

Hello guys, this is Bijoy, starting a new discussion here on how much value you can get in the budget flagship range with so many options to choose from. Till June '18, we had the Oneplus 6 to get a flagship experience like the premium budget phones. But after Asus came to the Indian market and introduced its Zenfone 5z in July, we are having doubts about the budget range also (for flagships only). But, as they were quite close in pricing, anyone could choose between an AMOLED screen and AI functionalities, Quick Charge and Dash Charge, Oxygen OS and ZenUI etc. But Huawei also announced its Honor Play featuring Huawei's flagship level processor the Kirin 970 and Xiaomi introduced its new sub-brand, the Pocophone and launched the Poco F1 with the best flagship processor till now, the Snapdragon 845. Those two phones were launched at almost the same price near 21K. Thus the race for best budget flagship has been quite tough. The OnePlus 6:      Since 2014, OnePlus has provided us…

Redmi 6 series: The Chinese giant shakes hand with Mediatek to provide better performance as competition increases

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone brand, which came to India 7 years back from now with some promising specs at a good price, eventually got a better market share and became India’s No. 1 smartphone brand in 2014. Especially the Redmi Note series had an edge over the phones in its segment. But since last 10 months or more, the brand faced some hard competition from other smartphone brands like 10.or, Asus, Oppo sub-brand Realme and others. Though Redmi tried to fulfill the gaps with different attempts but every time came with other cons. Xiaomi is still providing us good phones with genuine price, but not as the market king, but this time as one of the market shareholder. Recently Xiaomi launched its 6 series including 3 smartphones in India. But there was nothing special this time. As it moved to Mediatek from Snapdragon, is Xiaomi trying to cut the manufacturing cost or just for better results? Let’s find out…           The 3 phones launched by the starting of this week were named as Re…

Zenfone Max Pro M1 September update review: fingerprint sensor back to normal, ruins battery life

Hello futuretech geeks, this is another article on Zenfone Max Pro M1 after September 2018 update which bought the fingerprint sensor betterment and improvements in front camera. It was released on 5th September and according to Asus it will come in batches. So Max Pro users, wait if you haven't received it yet. But first read this article before updating to the latest build.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 had a lot of bugs in it right from the start. May it be the camera, fingerprint sensor, face unlock, native video call, battery drain issue or else, every time Asus came up with a new bug with the software updates. This is why Asus provided 3 updates on just 20 days off interval in July, but none of them contained the security patch update. On 20th August, 2018, Asus finally provided the security patch after 3 months which was the 5th August security patch level. But this time also with a new bug, now with the fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor took long time to un…

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1: Why this is the king of the budget segment

The Taiwanese brand came to the Indian smartphone market this year with a bang when they launched their latest budget killer Asus Zenfone Max pro M1 in late April. It has longer specs compared to its name itself. Jokes apart, it was a much-needed call from Asus to stay in the Indian smartphone market after a not much effective 2017. The phone is the first ever smartphone from Asus to come up with stock Android UI, and the user response is massive for the call.

It basically came with an aspect be the Redmi Note 5 Pro killer, and was quite competitive but couldn't be on the top because of comparatively low optics section. Though it has given way better specs than the Chinese giant but was a bit shorter. The build quality is quite impressive with the metal back and plastic at the top and the bottom portion of the phone for the radio signals. The most important thing, it does not have a camera bump like its rival RN5 pro.

Coming to the specs, it has the Qualcomm Snapdrag…

Realme 2 - Successor or the company just tried to fulfill the gaps

The Oppo sub-brand Realme launched its first ever smartphone in May this year. Instead of providing good hardware combination in good price it could not win the hearts overall as it lacked behind by some aspects. The company did a quick job and launched the successor of the Realme 1 in just 3 months. But looking at the specs and features, we can definitely say that it is more a lite version than a successor. With the Realme 2, the company just tried to fulfill the needs left in the Realme 1.
The Realme 2 had a lot of expectations by the fans before launching, following the awesome specs and aggressive pricing of the brand. But it all ends when the Realme 2 came with the Snapdragon 450 Soc and Adreno 506 GPU with 3/32 and 4/64 Ram and storage variants. It does come with a 6.2 inch notched display, but the resolution is HD+ not Full HD with 1550x720 pixel count and 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a pixel density of 271 ppi and 81.2% screen to body ratio. The display this tim…

The Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi launched a new sub-brand named Pocophone in August '18. The motive to launch the new sub-brand is to compete the premium level smartphones in Indian market.              The smartphone went for its first sale in the Indian market via Flipkart on 29th of August '18. And it was a record. According to the Twitter page of Poco F1, they sold more than 68K units in just 5 minutes on the opening day which crossed 200+ crores of Indian rupees of income. This shows the craze of the smartphone among the fans.
Coming to the quick specs, the smartphone has a 6.18 inches IPS LCD display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio and a notch above. The pixel count is 2246x1080 with 403 ppi pixel density and 82.2% screen to body ratio. The phone has a gorilla glass protection but it is quite old we'd say as it comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
In the performance department, it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU, whi…
